A sequence of videos designed to create a foundation of understanding of the 12-lead ECG in pre-health profession freshman and sophomore students. This video should not be considered clinically relevant, rather I hope it serves as a basis for understanding the biophysics of ECG recordings so that the interested student can use it to further develop their understanding of ECGs. Relevant topics covered will be an introduction (Part 1), diagnoses possible (Part 1), cardiac conduction cycle (Part 2), Einthoven's triangle(Part 2), how ECG leads detect the voltage changes in the conduction cycle (Part 3), a basic understanding of leads I, II, and III, augmented leads (Part 4), QRS axis (Part 5), Precordial leads (Part 6), and a return to diagnoses (Part 7).
