Cheap and safe! Alternative operative technique.
The main goal is to have a surgical procedure with less scaring and less surgical trauma.
This technique is proposed as a mean to reduce the costs and surgical trauma with security, as an alternative to NOTES, Single-port and Minilaparoscopy.
With little variations of the traditional four-ports technique we were able to achieve a secure and less expensive choice.
The lower costs are achieved using conventional laparoscopy instead of minilaparoscopy equipment. Cotton ligation and electrocauterization are also used as substitute for titanium clips. Also there's no additional cost with new equipment development (as to NOTES and Single-port).
